Lula to visit China

President Lula left Brazil on May 21st on a trip to China.
According to Lula and Brazilian analysts, this is the most important international trip of the President, so far. China is already the third largest commercial partner of Brazil (after US and Argentina), and Lula will prospect new opportunities; only 1 % (one percent) of Chinese purchases is from Brazil, mostly soy beans and iron ore.
The entourage included several Ministers and about 400 businessmen. Lula will stay in China from Sunday,23 through Thursday,27.
